Updated Monday, October 5, 2026. I update this page every Monday for the coming weekend.
Looking for things to do in Fuquay-Varina this weekend? Fuquay-Varina has two downtowns, a growing food scene and more going on than most people realize. Here’s what’s happening, plus the best of what’s nearby if you’re willing to drive 20 minutes or so.
Things to Do in Fuquay-Varina This Weekend: October 9 to 11
- Beatlesque, Fuquay-Varina Arts Center, Saturday at 7:30pm. All seats are $22. A tribute band performing the music of The Beatles in full costume and character. The Arts Center keeps punching above its weight, and this is a fun one to support.
- Downtown Fuquay and Varina both have patios that are perfect for this weather. My downtown dining guide has where I’d actually go.
Worth the drive
- Hum Sub Diwali, Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, Saturday 9am to 9pm. Free admission, $10 parking. Dance, food, a bazaar, headliner Vidya Vox and fireworks.
- Fall for Five Points, Five Points in Raleigh, Saturday 11am to 6pm. Free. Live music, local artists, food trucks and a kids zone.
- A Taste of Greece, St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in Durham, Saturday and Sunday 11am to 7pm. Free entry, food priced individually.
- Naylor Family Farm is open for fall right down 401. Here’s why it’s worth it.
Coming Up
Two weeks out, the NC State Fair runs October 15 to 25, and the Arts Center has Icons of Jazz: Divine and Dexterous on Thursday, October 22 at 7:30pm ($24). I check this page’s list of things to do in Fuquay-Varina this weekend every Monday, so come back for the next one.
