Celebrate Independence Day in Garner on Thursday, July 3, 2025! From 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, head to Lake Benson Park (921 Buffaloe Rd.) for a free, family-friendly evening featuring a vibrant Kids’ Zone with inflatables, games, and crafts, plus food trucks and local concessions. Relax to live music, including a special performance by the North Carolina Symphony at 8:30 PM, followed by one of the Triangle’s best fireworks shows around 9:30 PM. Don’t worry about parking—enjoy the free shuttle from South Garner High School, or arrive early for on-site parking. Note: you’ll want to leave umbrellas down during the performance and fireworks, and a few items (like alcohol, pets, drones, and grills) aren’t allowed. With patriotic tunes, a spectacular fireworks finale, and rides for the kids, Garner’s celebration is the perfect way to kick off the holiday weekend.
